We’re Sheryl & Ryan; we love coffee and what happens with it ….days start, people connect, creativity flows, napkin backs get filled, jobs get done and breaths get taken. Our business is built upon the belief great coffee leads to other great things.
Nordskov exists to awaken creativity, connection and growth in our community with great everyday coffee.
We grew up in small midwestern towns and met when we moved to Chicago. Most of our adult lives have been spent in the hustle culture of big companies in big cities. A couple of years ago, our rural roots came calling and we decided to do something different. It started with spending more time outside, reconnecting with nature and sharing ideas over MANY cups of coffee. This inspired us to choose ‘hygge over hustle’ and pursue things we are passionate about.
Ryan started roasting coffee in an old Orville Redenbacher popcorn machine just for fun, the coffee got better and better, and that turned into a full blown idea to start something here in rural Wisconsin. Yep, we’ve upgraded to a real coffee roaster, but it’s still a blast!
Beyond great coffee we hope this little business offers inspiration for you to start something you believe in. We look forward to hearing all about it over a cup of coffee soon!
